    INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY – A Unique And Beneficial For All

    Yoga Day has been celebrated every year on 21 June and was established in 2014.
    Yoga derived from Sanskrit which intends to join or to unite, representing the association of body. Yoga is an ancient physical, spiritual and mental practice that had originated in India and has been practice by people across the world for good physical and mental health. The prime minister of India Narendra Modi, in his UN suggested on the introduced for the benefit of the citizens of India and everyone in the world.
    The theme which is dedicated for International Yoga Day 2020 is “Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family.

    The first International Day of Yoga was celebrated in the world on June 21, 2015 which is basically to highlights the benefits of yoga and also encourage people to stay fit and healthy. The International Yoga Day provides a better knowledge about yoga and also aims to spread awareness worldwide all the benefits of practicing yoga.
    The International Yoga Day aims of Global health and foreign policy. The essence of yoga, the logo reflects harmony and peace for humanity.

    Benefits of yoga

    • It maintains weight – yoga is very helpful in maintaining the body weight as practicing different types of yoga gives you different benefits in parts of your body.
    • Helps to improve heart health – Regularly performing yoga may reduce the stress level and body-wide inflammation, contributing to our healthier heart. As there are many factors that leads to heart disease including high blood pressure and excess weight etc.
    • Protection from different diseases – performing yoga acts as the shield of the body against diseases and health disorders. Yoga also provides our body the power to protect from immunity related diseases such as cough, cold, viral fever etc. It also cures the backaches, neck, aches etc.
    • Increase the flexibility – yoga also promotes the overall fitness of the body also improves the flexibility of your body. Yoga includes many stretching exercises that helps to shape the body.
